The people of the Guajajara and Awá ethnic groups, who live in the Indigenous Lands of Caru and Pindaré, in the state of Maranhão, participated in content production workshops. The activities generated information for environmental conservation around the ILs and to encourage the use of medicinal plants.
Forest received these materials and produced posters, ecobags, caps, t-shirts and booklets. In addition to valuing indigenous designs, the products highlighted the illustrations and comics made by the group.
The content will be distributed in indigenous villages and will also be used for awareness-raising actions for the local population.
