Communication Consuiting: Carbon Well Project (ONF Brasil)

ONF Brasil’s Carbon Well project consists of studies and sustainable practices aiming to absorb carbon and reduce polluting gases in the atmosphere. In 16 years of reforestation, 550,000 tons of CO2 were absorbed at Fazenda São Nicolau, in the Amazon region of Mato Grosso. The project promotes four different research areas: reforestation, biodiversity, native forest and local integration. Forest Creations assists the project with specialised communication consulting, comprising the production of content based on scientific research conducted on the farm and the distribution of information to the project’s partner network.

In addition, Forest Creations also advises on the production of graphic pieces. The company’s website and one of its projects’ webpage were also designed and programmed by Forest Creations.

In 2013, the company also produced a video about the project’s Environmental Education programme. The initiative aims to bring children and adults from the surrounding communities to the farm, strengthening the project’s ties with the local population and disseminating socio-environmental practices in the region.
